Seventeen Farms is a subdivision of 122 homes off Cowesett Road and Major Potter Road in the Cowesett section of Warwick. It takes its name from the "Seventeen Farms" tract that surveyor John Smith laid out in Cowesett in 1658.

This is one of Cowesett's newer neighborhoods, so buyers find larger Colonials with farmer's porches, open floor plans and two-car garages rather than the antique homes elsewhere in Warwick.
