Most homes are bungalows, ranches and capes built between about 1940 and 1970, on modest lots, with some two-story Colonials and a few newer homes on cul-de-sacs. Living in Lakewood
Pawtuxet Village is about two miles east for restaurants and the waterfront. Warwick Avenue and Post Road have grocery stores and everyday shopping, and I-95, Route 37 and downtown Providence are all close.
