Conimicut Homes for Sale

Historic shoreline village at Conimicut Point

Conimicut gives you real waterfront village life at a price point below many of Rhode Island's better-known shoreline towns. It sits at Conimicut Point, where the Providence River opens into Narragansett Bay, and was settled in 1643 by Samuel Gorton and his followers.

Homes in Conimicut

Many homes started as summer cottages after the Warwick Railway arrived in 1865 and Conimicut became a resort for Providence families. Today you will see those cottages, now updated for year-round living, alongside capes, ranches and some water-view homes. Lot sizes vary a lot street to street, and so does flood-zone exposure, both of which we factor into every price.

Living in Conimicut

Conimicut Point Park looks out on the 1882 Conimicut Lighthouse, the last lighthouse in the U.S. to be electrified. The village association keeps a strong community identity, and it is a short drive to T.F. Green, I-95 and Providence.
